How it worksThe ad lives on the stream.

Publsh renders a booked ad over the stream through one overlay, so the brand is part of the show, not an interruption.

Privacy Policy

Publsh · publsh.co · Effective: 1 September 2026

Publsh ("we") runs publsh.co. This is short and plain because we do very little with your data.

The short version

Join the waitlist and we keep your email so we can tell you when Publsh opens. We don't sell or rent it, we don't use advertising cookies, and you can unsubscribe anytime. (When you sign in to our apps we collect more — see Analytics below.)

What we collect

Your email address. Whether you told us you're a creator or an advertiser. The page and cohort you signed up from, and the date and time. No account, no password, no payment information at the waitlist stage.

Analytics

We use privacy-respecting analytics (PostHog). On our public marketing pages this is cookieless and anonymous: we set no cookie and create no profile.

When you sign in to the Publsh apps (creator or advertiser), we turn on product analytics so we can understand how the app is actually used and improve it. There we set a first-party analytics cookie and attribute your in-app activity — which pages and features you use — to your account using a pseudonymous identifier, never your name or email. Typed input values are not collected, there is no session recording, no cross-site tracking, and no advertising cookies.

In both cases, as of August 2026 we derive your approximate location (city level) from your IP address at the time of collection and then discard the raw IP address going forward, and we don't use your IP address to track you across sites. We keep no directly identifying data (like your name or email) in analytics events.

How we use it

To email you when your signup is ready (a single message — unsubscribe anytime). To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used. We use your information because you asked us to join the waitlist. We do not sell it, rent it, or trade it.

What we never do

We do not sell personal information. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not track you across the internet or build advertising profiles of visitors — that's the whole point of how Publsh measures ads.

Do Not Track and cross-site collection

Our site does not track visitors across other websites over time, and no third parties collect personal information about your activity across other sites or over time through our site. Because we don't track, we do not change our behavior in response to browser "Do Not Track" signals — everyone gets the same no-tracking treatment.

Who processes your data for us

We share what's necessary with service providers who run the site for us: Resend (email), PostHog (analytics), Neon (database), Vercel (hosting/CDN), Cloudflare R2 (storage), and Upstash (rate-limiting). Our apps, later, also use Stripe (payments — it holds card/bank details on its own PCI-compliant systems; we never store raw card numbers) and Clerk (sign-in). We update this list as our providers change.

How we protect it

Your data lives in an access-controlled database and is never published or shown to other users. It's encrypted in transit (HTTPS). We don't claim any formal security certifications.

How long we keep it

Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Unsubscribing stops our emails immediately; if you want your signup record deleted entirely, email privacy@publsh.co and we'll delete it.

Your choices

Unsubscribe from any email (immediate). Ask us what we hold, or to delete it: privacy@publsh.co. You may have additional rights under your local law.

Children

Publsh isn't for anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Where your data is processed

Our services are provided from, and directed to users in, the United States. Your data may be processed in the US and other countries where our providers operate.

Changes to this policy

We'll post any changes here and update the date above.
