What is measured stream advertising?

Measured stream advertising is buying ad space on a live stream and being able to prove, second by second, that it actually ran and how many people were watching when it did. It is the opposite of how streamer sponsorships work today, where a logo goes on screen and nobody counts anything. Publsh is building the first system for it: a booked on-screen placement, counted in viewer-seconds from the serving side that draws the ad.

The old way: a logo and a leap of faith

A sponsorship today is a business-inquiry email, a hand-dragged logo, and no proof afterward. You paid for exposure you cannot see, price, or verify.

The new way: exposure with a server behind it

When the ad is a browser source, it can be counted. Publsh records on-screen viewer-seconds, timestamped per creative, and attributes response through codes and links you own. No cookies, no viewer tracking.

What measured honestly means, and what's still rolling out

Measured means the number came from delivery we recorded, not a modeled estimate. Publsh is measured out-of-home, a thing that has never existed at scale. Some of the serving pipeline is live today and more is rolling out, and we describe what is real rather than a finished promise.

Advertising you can finally prove. That is the whole category.

Frequently asked

What does measured mean in stream advertising?

It means delivery is counted from the platform's own serving log (on-screen viewer-seconds per creative) rather than estimated, with response attributed through codes or links the advertiser owns.
